The first national electric surfboard championship in 2019 was held in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province
From October 26 to 27, the first 2019 national electric surfboard championship, jointly sponsored by the water sports management center of the State Sports Administration, Zhejiang Provincial Sports Bureau and Jinhua Municipal People's government, was held in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province. 16 teams and 61 athletes from all over the country participated. The competition set up the men's and women's electric surfboard field race, electric surfboard obstacle roundabout and other events. The venue was set in the Haitang Park of urban wetland lake, which has the largest area in Jinhua City, attracting nearly 10000 citizens to stop and watch.
In recent years, power surfboard has developed in the world. It is a new water sport integrating competitiveness, appreciation and entertainment. In 2014, power surfboard was introduced into China and became a promotion project of the water sports management center of the State Administration of sports this year. The power surfboard has also been included in the cross-border and cross event training equipment for preparing for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games as one of the training means for snowboarding in winter and summer.
The electric surfboard used in the first national electric surfboard championship is the first show of electric surfboards independently developed and manufactured in China and with independent intellectual property rights. It is a revolutionary achievement of powered water sports equipment and will play a good leading and demonstration role in vigorously developing green environmental protection water power projects in the world in the future. They come from Zhejiang Yiwei Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., an enterprise in Wuyi. "The electric surfboard developed and produced by Yiwei overcomes the problems of heat dissipation and speed, and its performance is far ahead."
This event is of great significance and is a milestone in the history of electric surfboard sports. It not only marks that China has its own national electric surfboard sports event, but also will greatly promote the R & D and manufacturing of electric surfboards in China. At the same time, the electric power surfboard will be displayed to the public, and the electric power surfboard industry will be developed through the holding of events to promote national fitness activities
